Slovinská Mensa už po 20-ty krát pripravuje medzinárodný mensanský lyžiarsky víkend. Od 20. do 23.januára 2023 (od piatku do pondelka).

20th Mensa Slovenia Ski Weekend, which takes place in Kranjska Gora from 20th to 23rd of January 2023.
Members of Mensa Slovenia and other national Mensas, together with their spouses, families, friends, as well as supporters are all welcome to join us.
The Ski Weekend is a traditional, annual and the greatest event of Mensa Slovenia with a wide attendance.
Skiing is the main, but not the only activity, so we would be more correct in calling it the Winter Weekend. Naturally, non-skiers are more than welcome to join in, a great opportunity to meet other Mensa members and their friends,
Activities are plenty both outdoor and indoor: enjoying the scenery and different winter sports, relaxing in the spa, as well as game machines, pool, card & board games. Our hotel includes saunas and Thai massage. Swimming pools are available in two nearby hotels.
The official opening is on Friday, January the 20th 2023, when we jumpstart with an Icebreaker Party.

Price is per bed in a standard double room. The number of standard rooms is limited, in case of occupancy of standard rooms, superior rooms are available at an extra cost of € 15 per room per night. Single rooms cost € 90 per night for the whole stay, in case of shorter stays the same conditions apply as for double rooms. Triple and quadruple rooms are also available, please contact us if you are interested.
The price also includes:
- half-board at Hotel Alpina,
- free WiFi,
- free use of the hotel fitness room and
- free use of the children’s playroom.
The prices do not include the tourist tax of € 2 per person per night or € 1 per night for children
from 7 to 18 years.

Supplements for children:
- children up to six years of age in an existing bed: no extra charge,
- extra charge for children up to six years of age in an extra bed: 10 €/day,
- extra charge for children from 6 to 12 years of age in an extra bed: 15 €/day,
- extra charge for children over 12 years of age in an extra bed: 20 €/dan.
Guests of the hotel also benefit from the following:
- 40 % discount in the SPA Alpina sauna,
- 20 % discount in the Larix and Kompas swimming pools and
- 10 % discount on THAI massage at the SPA Alpina (pre-booking required).

● Applications are being accepted until 31st of December 2022 at [email protected], and please
indicate the names of the persons applying, the number of rooms, the date of arrival and
the number of days of your stay.
● The application is valid when we receive both the application and the money transfer
of the advance payment of 50 % of your whole selected package.
Mensa Slovenia will not be liable for any changes and/or cancellations of programmes provided by
third parties. Mensa Slovenia cannot be held responsible for any damages or injuries during the
event, unless for direct consequences of Mensa Slovenia actions. There is no reimbursement of
entry fee in case of cancellation on part of the guest(s); advance payments for accommodations
will be refunded in accordance with the hotel rules.

In the event of cancellation of the entire event, participants can request a refund of their
reservation, together with the registration fee. As stated above, Mensa Slovenia reserves the
right to change the programme and prices should this be requested by the situation or by
third-party operators, or in the event of an inadvertent error in the invitation.
By registering for the Ski Weekend, the participant authorises the use of his/her data for the
purposes of the organisation of the event, as well as for future communications related to the
Ski Weekend. The participant may request deletion of the data at any time .
